Layne and Hana are getting married!

We met with the happy couple at the Sample Gates on the campus of Indiana University for their engagement photo shoot. Shooting on campus is always fun, because it is such a hustle and bustle of people. We generally gain attention from onlookers who express congratulations. I enjoy positive feedback from perfect strangers.

We had a great time hanging out with Layne and Hana. They make a great couple, and were fun to photograph. As always, campus is a beautiful backdrop for portraits. Here are a few of my favorites from the evening:

As you can see, Layne is pretty tall. I thought these shots were fun.

"Hey there, hot stuff."

"Who's that lady? Who's that lay-dee?"

Layne is quite the gentleman.

I love this shot. They are perfectly framed in this beautiful scene.

Congratulations Layne and Hana. We look forward to photographing your wedding!

Julian, Eli and Cal

My oldest brother and his family welcomed home baby number three! My family took off for Louisville for an afternoon visit. They are three beautiful boys that love to have a good time.

Julian, the elder.

He has an insane collection of Angry Bird toys. You should see him play the game on daddy's phone. He's a pro!

Mr. Eli, no longer the baby of the family. I love his laugh, he's so fun!

Eli decided he was going to walk for the first time when baby Cal came home from the hospital!

Little Calvin. Cal for short. Such a handsome little guy. Unfortunately he slept nearly the entire time we visited.

You'll have to take my word for it. He has beautiful dark eyes.

Congratulations John and Tiffany on your new baby boy!

Spring is here!

I'm so glad that warmer weather is finally here. I love winter and the snow, and especially Christmas, but am always glad to see the change in seasons. I ventured out one sunny afternoon and tried my hand at some nature photography.

An old barn provided some really nice textures.
